I live in a condominium building which is situated in close proximity to the neighboring buildings. Here in Chicago we have what are known as gangways between the buildings -- spaces anywhere from 3 to 6 feet wide that separate the buildings from one another.
As this is a new building, and one in a series of 7 at that -- all with the same layout -- the windows along the side of the units match up with each other across the gangway. This means that if my shades are open, and so are my neighbor's, we can see right into each other's house.
When the weather's nice, I have the window open a crack in my bate room, and the shade is up to prevent flapping. Now, over time, I have noticed light emanating from the neighbor's place, but the shade was always down, as it was last night.
So last night, as I was blissfully in the edge, I noticed the light go out. Some 20 minutes later, though, I notice, out of the corner of my eye, that it had come back on -- and as I glance over, I see that the shade is up! And my neighbor is stroking what looks to be 7.5 inches of thick meat. I crouched down at one point for a better view, and for a sec opened my shades all the way. We played with lights -- all the way on, then just the illumination from the computer screens, then on again, then nothing -- and played with ourselves. I think this must have been a new experience for him, since once I came by the light of the screen, I didn't see him again, and he retreated into the depths of his home.
I wonder if this will ever happen again?
